1.Thorough research on the topic assigned.

2. ⁠Candidate has to deliver 4-8 pieces every month.

3. ⁠Intensive discussions with legal expert regarding structure and legal analysis of the legal piece.

4.Drafting of the piece basis the discussions in English language.​

5. ⁠Follow up research after discussions

Skills/Job requirement:

1. ⁠Prior experience in legal research tools like SCC, Manupatra, ibclaws etc.

2. Language proficiency written and verbal English and verbal Hindi.

3. ⁠⁠Knowledge and application of article/snippets drafting in Word.

4. Proficiency in depth/advanced legal research.

5. Proficient in Case law analysis.

Qualification/Experience:

1.⁠ ⁠LL.B. from a National Law University/Delhi University

2.⁠ ⁠2 years’ experience in any editorial team of a legal journal

3.⁠ ⁠Assisted or co-authored or written atleast 3 articles in legal journals or newspapers like SCC etc

Compensation: As per industry standards and experience.

Work Timings: Minimum of 40-50 hours of work in a month, 5 days a week [Sunday to Thursday]

Maintaining Calendar for meetings, holidays and Events.

Client Handling :

Maintaining Client Records.

Prepare invoice / invoices for payments.

Prepare follow up emails and send periodically (every 15 days).

Maintain Payment records on google drive.

Call up clients for payments as required.

Office Administration :

Supervise staff & office supply requirements –

Kitchen and Office work items.

Receiving and attending new clients for meeting and taking care of their refreshments.

Assist Management in maintaining records of events, HR and vendors.

Manage – Procure and maintain records of office cash usage.

HR Assistance :

Maintain employee leave records.

Entry and exit details of employees.

Assist HR Head /

Manager in hiring resources.

Collect resumes from various portals and save in google drive.

Maintaining proper records of internal stakeholders (Employee end to end data).

The candidate has to be open to learning from seniors in legal and HR domain.

Conduct legal research on statutes, regulations, and case law to support case preparation and advisory work.

Draft, review, and edit legal documents, including contracts, pleadings, motions, and briefs.

Collaborate with senior attorneys to prepare cases for trial, including organizing evidence, exhibits, and case materials.

Communicate with clients to gather information, provide case updates, and address inquiries and concerns.

Assist in the development of legal strategies and solutions by analyzing and interpreting laws and precedents.

Represent clients in court proceedings under the supervision of senior attorneys, including presenting arguments and examining witnesses.

Stay informed about changes in laws, regulations, and legal precedents relevant to the practice area.

Uphold the highest ethical standards in all interactions with clients, colleagues, and other stakeholders.

Legal Associate Qualifications and Skills:

Proficient in conducting thorough legal research using various resources.

Strong legal writing and drafting skills for contracts, pleadings, motions, and briefs.

Exceptional analytical abilities interpreting laws, regulations, and legal precedents.

Effective verbal and written communication skills for client interactions, legal arguments, and collaboration with team members.

Efficient time management skills and can handle multiple tasks while meeting deadlines.

Experience assisting with case preparation, including gathering evidence and organizing case materials.

Familiarity with courtroom procedures and the ability to represent clients in court proceedings under supervision.

Strong interpersonal skills for communicating with clients, addressing their concerns, and maintaining professional relationships.

Ability to contribute to the development of legal strategies and solutions.
